Could they get to it?
Devices, seed phrases, PINs and passwords. What they'd have to find, and who would walk them through it.

The Bitcoin Estate Check
Take one minute to see where your bitcoin inheritance plan stands on access, legal title and records, then get a bespoke action plan for your family.
We never ask for a seed phrase, key or address.
What it checks
Access
Devices, seed phrases, PINs and passwords. What they'd have to find, and who would walk them through it.
Legal title
A neighbor with a spare set of keys to your home doesn't own your home. Access and ownership are different things.
If you can't act
A transfer on death only applies at death. Someone still has to be able to act for you before then.
Records
Your beneficiaries may receive a stepped-up basis, and they'll need a record of what it was worth on the date of death.

What you get
You'll see what your family would run into and how each part of your plan stands. Then get a three-page action plan, built from your answers.
Many of the steps have nothing to do with Onramp: a practice recovery, a durable power of attorney, a conversation with your estate attorney.
Why clients started here
“I didn’t want my spouse or my family to kind of have to deal with a really complex situation, especially if they were grieving.”
Jeremy C.Onramp client“I was… writing treasure maps and it just got to be ridiculous.”
Jim P.Onramp client“It just makes it easier for my kids because there’s no treasure hunt for them.”
JMOnramp clientBefore you start
Anyone whose bitcoin is a real part of what they'd leave their family, whether they hold it themselves, on an exchange or with a custodian.
Then the check will say so. If you hold your own keys, have a trust and have tested your recovery, you can get the top result.
No. It's a general check. Your estate attorney and tax advisor are the right people to review your plan.
