Would your custody still work without you?

Speak with a member of our team. We have had this conversation thousands of times. We will evaluate what you have today and tell you whether Onramp is a good fit.

No pitch deck. Bring your questions.

What the call actually is

Before we talk about Onramp, let's pressure-test what you have.

Whether you bought your first bitcoin last year or a decade ago, you have a setup. For most people it works, as long as they are the one running it. For a lot of people it works with a few concerns they have learned to live with: an inheritance plan with gaps, keys that take more upkeep than they should, or a single custodian holding everything. That is where the call starts. We want to understand your situation before we start talking about ours, and what you tell us decides what we spend the time on. We will tell you where the gaps are and if we can help address them.

A few of the questions worth asking yourself before the call:

  • If you were unreachable tomorrow, could your family access your bitcoin without guessing?
  • How much of your bitcoin would be at risk if one custodian failed?
  • Can your setup survive the loss of your phone, hardware wallet, home, or custody relationship?
  • When was the last time anyone other than you tested your recovery plan?
  • As the value of your bitcoin has grown, has your security model grown with it?
  • What lingering concerns do you have about your setup?

What you will see on the call

We will spend a lot of the call showing you, not describing.

A live demo of the platform

We pull up an account and walk through it: the vault, the withdrawal flow, beneficiary designations, and the rest of what the account gives you, including brokerage, the IRA, and bitcoin-backed loans. People expect the withdrawal to be a login-and-send button. It is deliberately not.

Who holds what

Three independent institutions each secure one key in their own purpose-built custody infrastructure. Two of the three are needed to move your bitcoin. You hold none of them, and that is by design. No seed phrase, no hardware wallet, no consumer device anywhere in the chain.

What your family would actually do: call Onramp.

The beneficiary process is straightforward. Name your family on your account, or set your account up with a trust. No bitcoin knowledge required on their part.

What it costs

Pricing comes up on every call and we would rather you hear it from us than guess. We cover it before the end, including what happens after any promotional period and what happens as your holdings grow.

Questions people bring

These come up on nearly every call. Bring yours.

  • Who holds the keys?
  • What happens if one of the three institutions fails, gets hacked, or is compelled?
  • Could a government compel the institutions to freeze or seize my bitcoin?
  • How long does a withdrawal take, and what if I need it urgently?
  • What stops someone from impersonating me on the verification call?
  • How is this different from other custody solutions like collaborative custody, a single custodian, or an ETF?
  • What does the insurance cover, and what does it not cover?
  • Should I retitle the account to my trust, or name the trust as beneficiary?
  • Can my business hold bitcoin here, with more than one person able to act?
  • I am not in the US. What works for me and what does not?
  • What happens to the price after a promotional period ends?

Who this call is for

You take bitcoin seriously. Maybe you have held it for years, maybe you only recently started buying in size. Either way, you want it protected for the long term and you want a partner to shepherd you through the journey.

The call fits if some of this sounds like you:

  • You hold enough bitcoin that losing it would hurt. That is about what it means to you, not the number.
  • The people you want to inherit it are in the dark. A spouse, children, business partners, an executor. They know the bitcoin exists but would not be able to easily recover it.
  • Managing devices feels less like sovereignty and more like a burden. Firmware, backups, seed phrases, the update you keep putting off.
  • The threats have outgrown the setup. Attacks are more sophisticated than when you built it, digitally and physically, and you would rather evolve with the threat landscape.
  • You are holding on an exchange or with a single custodian, and that is a risk. It was convenient. It is now a liability.

That covers people who have self-custodied for a decade and people who moved off an exchange last month, trusts and business owners who need more than one person able to act, and holders outside the US.

After years of managing my own keys, I finally sleep better knowing my family is protected.
