Bitcoin Custody Insurance Disclosures
This table records what 35 bitcoin custody providers, platforms, IRA providers and lenders say publicly about their insurance: who carries it, whose interests it covers, how much it covers and against what. Onramp is one of them and is listed first.
Each row comes from the firm’s own public pages, read between September 14 and October 6, 2026. The as-of date on each row shows when its source was published or read, and every row links to that source. Expand a row to see the evidence behind it.
Of the 34 other firms, 7 state a dollar limit, for their own policy or a partner’s, and 5 point to the Lloyd’s of London market (3 do both). The other 25 neither state a limit nor name an insurer or market, and several of those say outright that customers’ crypto isn’t insured.

Figures are each firm's public statements, as of the date shown. Unless the table says otherwise, their coverage triggers aren't disclosed.
Method and limits
Each competitor row reflects only what that firm says on the page the row links to. Where the only statement is an older blog post, press release or help article, the row says so, and its as-of date shows when that page was published.
“Not disclosed” means we did not find the information on the firm’s public pages as of the date shown. Firms may disclose more privately, for example to clients or during due diligence.
If a row is out of date or wrong, email hello@onrampbitcoin.com with a link to the public page that shows the change, and we will review it.
Onramp’s row is taken from our custody insurance page. For what our policy covers and excludes, see Custody Insurance.
